Mrs. Robbins was my babysitter in the early 1980's. Some of my earliest memories are of her. In fact, I still have the Cabbage Patch Doll and Christmas stocking she made for me. I clearly remember how sad I was when Mrs. Robbins moved to North Carolina.
Until this past December, we had lost touch with one another. Then I learned from a relative who was helping to care for Mrs. Robbins that she had not forgotten me and wanted to see me again. I was told she spent hours telling stories about her little Billy.
Regrettably, we were unable to meet and I am heartbroken that I missed that opportunity to see her again. However, I know we will see each other again in Heaven and I am looking forward to that day.
To Mrs. Robbins family, you have my deepest condolences. I am sorry for your loss and you are in my thoughts and prayers. Hopefully you find comfort in knowing that Mrs. Robbins' spirit lives on in the hearts and minds of those who's lives she has touched.
