I am so sorry to hear that you have lost your family member to the enemy death as mentioned in the Bible at 1 Corinthians 15:26 "And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing." The Bible also states in Isaiah 25:8 “He (Jehovah/Creator) will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces. The reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, For Jehovah himself has spoken it. You can learn more about death and the hope for your loved one. To the Garrett family, I was so sorry to hear about your Dad. He would stop into AAA for various things and he would always sit with me and update me on everyone in the family. He was so proud of all of his children! He was such a nice person and I will miss seeing him from time to time. Joanne

Audrey, Laurel, Tim, Linda, Jody, Lisa,
I’m glad I got to see Francis before he passed. He was always friendly and kind to me. Given our age difference, he was more like an uncle than a brother in law. One Christmas, after I finished graduate school, Francis and Audrey visited mom and dad’s. He asked me to go downtown with him for a beer. At the bar, he told me how great it was that that I finished my Ph.D. He also said that “my father was proud of me but probably wouldn’t say it. I know this is true for he told me so”.
Sometimes it is a few words a man says that speaks volumes about his character. Francis was a good man and a class act. His family will miss him and others will as well.

Dear Audrey, Jody, Tim, Lisa, Linda and Laurel - Will Ryan here, son of Doug and Frances Ryan. I happened to be in the area fishing Monday and read of Francis's passing. I was so saddened. He was just the kindest of people to me when I was growing up - never talked down to me, treated me like an adult - even when I was good for nothing lifeguard at Westcotts and he was Superintendent at Southwicks. Was just terrific. My parents (and their friends) just loved Francis, too. He was Royalty in our house. I have such fond memories of many of you as well, from the days at Cedar Point.
As these things turn out, my friend and I had stopped for breakfast on our way to fish Linda Island when I read the paper. And yesterday was a glorious day on the river around Cedar, very few people there, now that it is after Labor Day. I spent much of my time thinking of Francis, and how very lucky I was to have had him in my life. My deepest sympathies, Will
