Obituary of Jeffrey C. Roberts

Jeffrey C. Roberts, 55, of Adams, died Friday afternoon August 31, 2018 in the emergency room at the Carthage Area Hospital.  A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, in the Adams Village Baptist Church, with Rev. Dr. Bud Masters officiating. Burial will be at Northside Cemetery in Watertown, NY.  Calling hours will be Tuesday from 1:00 - 3:00 and 5:00 -8:00 pm at the church. 

Arrangements are with the Piddock Funeral Home, Inc., Adams.

Jeff was born October 30, 1962 in Watertown, son of David L. and Sandra (Yando) Roberts.  He attended South Jefferson High School.

He married Dian Beckstead of Adams on September 21, 2002.    

He is survived by his wife Dian, Adams; his father David L. (Joanne) Roberts, Lorraine; two sons Gavin (Jamie) Roberts and Kyle (Brittany) Roberts, both of Adams Center; two step sons Michael Beckstead and Jamie (Kelly) Beckstead, both of Adams; eleven grandchildren; two  brothers David (Michelle) Roberts, Lorraine, and Jason (Shelia) Roberts, Baldwinsville; two sisters Debra (Scott) Brady, Granville, SC and Jennifer Roberts, Watertown; and several nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his mother Sandra Rose Roberts, and a brother Joseph Mark Roberts.

Jeffrey will be remembered as the fun-loving husband, father, brother, grandfather “Pa”, uncle and friend. He loved sports both playing and watching - basketball, soccer, softball, etc. - motorcycles,  and most of all just playing with grandchildren and any other children in his orbit.
