Ellie was a part of our family - from the day I boarded the school bus on Dry Hill until the end. She deeply loved her family and Bob and Kinny were devoted to her. I have a few things in my home that were gifts from her treasure trove of collectibles. Her warm smile, loving heart and generous soul will always be remembered. Rest well, Ellie and you are finally exactly where you wanted to be - with Lover. Sue Powers Washburn

Ellie was a long-time client while working at Prudential. I remember meeting her as a new agent and having taken over her account from an older agent, and we certainly didn't hit it off at first. I know over time I must have grown on her as she and Bob (lover) became a great client and long-time friends. I bought a Honda ATV from her and Bob for my son's birthday which he loved. I also remember her letting me dig up some pinnies at her home because my wife wanted some and they grew like crazy once they got planted at our home. I also visited her a couple of times after retiring from Prudential at her home. I will always remember her as a kind gentle soul who would give you the shirt off her back as the saying goes !! I am very sorry for the loss of family and friends who had the pleasure of knowing her!! Manny McCarthy (retired Prudential agent)

I grew up calling her Aunt Ellie. She was my Aunt Jeanie's best friend. I remember well the candy counter just inside the door leading to the check in desk. Many fond memories of visiting them there at the Motel.
