Obituary of Caroline M. Kenyon

Caroline M. Kenyon, 81, of Adams Center, died Saturday August 19, 2023 at the Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown, NY. It was her wishes not to have any public services. Arrangements are with the Piddock Funeral Home Inc, Adams, NY. Caroline was born August 18, 1942 in Watertown NY, daughter of Wayne and Stella (Donnelly) Richards, she attended school in Tremaines Corners, graduating from Adams Center High School in1959. She married Franklin B. “Ben” Kenyon of Adams Center September 1960. The couple lived in Adams Center all their married life. She was a homemaker, and later began working at Bob’s Bakery in Adams Center with her husband. Bob’s Bakery was well known throughout the area for their donuts. The bakery eventually closed in 2010 due Ben’s health. He died January 7, 2020. Caroline continued to live in Adams Center until moving to Samaritan Keep Home, Watertown , in February 2023. She is survived by two sons F. Ben Kenyon II (and companion Debbie), Adams Center, James (Kimberly) Kenyon, Ocee, FL; one daughter Robin (Ronald) Ingersoll, Martinsburg, NY; twelve grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, one great great grandson and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a brother Robert Richards and a sister Margaret Gibbs. She was a member of the Adams Center Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Caroline loved to play Bingo and crocheting blankets for all of her grandchildren.
