Obituary of Guillermo V. Lassally

Guillermo Vicente Lassally, 74, of Adams, NY, passed October 24th, 2018.

Guillermo was born to Theodor and Luz (Palma) Lassally, July 1st, 1944, in San Salvador, El Salvador.  He graduated from Riverside Military Academy in 1962 and received a Classical Diploma.  He also completed an International Apprenticeship through Deutsche Bank, Hamburg Germany.  He married Beatriz Salaverria in 1967 and they retired in Adams, NY.  Together they raised 3 children. 

He leaves as his legacy his children Teodoro and Kathy; Isabel and Andy; Gonzalo and Amber, nine grandchildren Ashley, Claire, Sofia, Halle, Rowan, Charlotte, Elizabeth, Noel, and Hanna, and one great grandchild Calvin. His children remember him as giving and loving.  

He was preceded in death by his father Theodor, mother Luz, and sister Elsa. He also leaves to cherish his memory his sister Vickey.  

Guillermo was always passionate about helping the needy and devoted much of his life to assisting those in need all around the world.   

A Mass is scheduled at Saint Cecilia’s Catholic Church in Adams, NY on October 30th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Martin Cline officiating.  Burial will be private.  There are no calling hours.
